Caring Optometrist: Dr. Luckey
Dr. Robert E. Luckey is a board certified optometric physician. He is a proud graduate of Nova Southeastern University (Class of 2002), and has practiced in both a large ophthalmology practice and private optometry practice. Dr. Luckey's experience includes two externships in ocular disease at large ophthalmology practices.
Dr. Luckey is an active member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), the Florida Optometric Association (FOA), and former president of the Hillsborough Society of Optometrists (HSO). Dr. Luckey is married and has two wonderful children. He enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, biking (bikes and motorcycles), kayaking, and traveling.
Prior to Dr. Luckey's career as an optometric physician he served in the U.S. Military for fourteen years. He began his military career as a Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Warfare Specialist and continued on in his career as a combat/flight medic.
